Our Team

Stu is an experienced Senior Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the civil construction industry. Skilled in negotiation, value engineering, cost and contract management, highways, and earthworks. Stu has strong programme and project management expertise working as client, consultant, and contractor alike.

Daniel is a Senior Project Manager with over 17 years of experience on large & small projects across Australia & New Zealand, Daniel has accumulated experience in almost all disciplines of civil construction such as; general civils, earthworks, drainage, roading, structures, mining, landscaping, urban design, geotechnical, tunnelling, asset management, disaster relief, primary industries & farming operations.

Hamish is an experienced Senior Project Manager with a demonstrated history of high-quality project delivery across various locations throughout New Zealand. Hamish’s skills are highly sought after and he is known for his technical expertise, high-quality workmanship, professionalism and implementation of unbiased, fact-based best practice processes.

Elyse is a Senior Project Manager and Engineering Geologist with 14 years’ consulting experience in the engineering industry with experience working in and across the transport, civil, geotechnical, structural, and water engineering disciplines. As well as experience in policy development, and community and cultural engagement.

Otto is a Junior Project Manager and civil engineer with a background in surfacing systems and material management. He has experience in quarry and material production; having established and managed mobile asphalt plants for RONs projects. Since joining Aprotean Otto has gained valuable experience in disaster relief, bridge construction & general civil construction in a project management space.

Ash is a Specialist Pavements and Surfacing Manager with practical experience and a demonstrated history of successful project delivery across different geographic locations in New Zealand. With the ability to navigate all construction issues and deliver high quality projects. Building solid teams and relationships, though engagement and collaboration.

Glenn is a Civil Designer with over 20 years of experience in various scale Land Development & Civil Infrastructure projects. Glenn has experience in the total project lifecycle from the early investigations and planning phase through to the construction design and project delivery phase.

With over 40 years experience delivering a wide range of projects and managing large scale businesses in the New Zealand market; John is a specialist in strategy and planning for business growth and continuity. John’s knowledge of the New Zealand Industry is currently utilised as a valuable asset to civil contractors; consultants and peak bodies around New Zealand. John has been working with Aprotean since the company’s inception and we are proud to acknowledge his input into our current and future development.

Alex is a passionate engineer with over 16 years of experience in the civil and mining industries, specialising in bid management, project execution methodology and schedule development, transport engineering, and traffic management. Due to his background in planning, estimating, design development and construction, Alex is regularly sought after by public and private sector clients in both Australia and New Zealand to help develop cost-effective methodologies and transport and traffic management solutions for civil and mining tenders and projects, as well as providing engineering support at any stage of the project lifecycle.
